ok i know i said “books” (plural) but at the moment only one is available. here’s a resume of my dickert-ing around the last few years.

2017-2018: Wrote Esprit, a terrible fantasy book that will never see the light of day.

2018-2019: Wrote The Quest for the Golden Plunger, a humorous adventure novel for young adults about Boy Scouts at summer camp. It was published by Campfire in 2021.

2020-2023: Edited and marketed The Never-Ending End of the World by Ann Christy, also published by Campfire. A short story I wrote, “Fish Out of Time”, is included in the hardcover edition.

2020-2025: Wrote and edited Backwoods Bargain (title not final). I rewrote this book more times than I’d ever care to admit. For now, I’m trunking it (which I probably should have done long ago!) The elevator pitch is: V.E. Schwab’s Vicious meets Welcome to Night Vale meets Library at Mount Char.

2024-2025: I wrote 40k words of a cozy fantasy novel, Tidehunter. I decided to trunk it for now. I also read Rob J. Hayes’s Ties that Bindtrilogy and worked with him to create a world guide for it, art directing over a hundred art pieces, and even contributing a short story to it called “The Serpent’s Tooth”. The World of Heresy Within is only available on Campfire.

2025-2026: I have been working on a book called Moonlocked about a thief who loves his dying wife so much that he’ll attempt an impossible heist in order to save her.
